…Drawn

We’re making stuff, baby! Obviously you know what drawing is. But really it’s sublime, it’s wonderful it’s MAGICAL! We’re turning that thing in our brains into a real thing someone else can see and react to and maybe even hold. We’re really living when we’re creating. We’re bringing forth new life! (I can’t help but think of those cute little megalomaniacs like Brain from Pinky and the Brain or Dexter from Dexter’s Lab when I say that. Like, as creators, we are GODS MWAH-HAH-HAH-HAH-HAAAA!! Not quite. Cue dramatic lighting and thunder. )But still. It’s an awesome power.)

In the school of art we’re going to be tackling traditional learning, learning new skills, new techniques, new crafts. I want to hear from YOU. What’s your thing? What do you like to do, what do you want to practise?  Whatever your thing is, coming at it from a holistic, unified field of happiness will make you more productive and give you more joy in your achievements. Celebrate the hell out of life and out of your creative soul. Never let it end!
